Phoebe Sanders is a Chef and Culinary Training Instructor at Episcopal Community Services' CHEFS Program, where she works to end homelessness by helping people change their lives through culinary training. Before starting there three years ago, she was a cheese monger, culinary competitor, and a chef/owner of a cook-for-hire business. She believes in the power of culinary arts to empower individuals and create and heal communities. She has a special interest in the intersection of food, wellness, and identity.
