Marianne Thompson is a Project Manager for the Office of Economic and Workforce Development. Among her many projects she oversees the outreach for the San Francisco Gross Receipts Tax, and Shop and Dine in the 49. Both projects are focused on small businesses in San Francisco. Prior to working for OEWD Marianne was the Outreach Project Manager for San Francisco’s 311, the primary point of contact for City and County of San Francisco government general services. Marianne joined the City family in 2005 working on communications and community development for Treasure Island.
